The Universe has a way of throwing messages at us and it’s up to us as to whether we take heed.
My friend Helen recently reminded me of the analogy of the feather, the brick and the Mack truck. When the Universe recognises we need to take a different path it will send us a feather……..and, if we don’t heed that, it will throw a brick at us…….and, if we are still determined to follow the path that really is not to our advantage, it will ‘run us over’ with a truck!!
I am so grateful to still be able to treat people using Kinesiology but I certainly needed to be reminded of this story a few weeks ago when the Sports Therapy / Massage part of my business had to come to a complete stop within the space of a few hours. The ‘Mack truck’ bowled me over a month ago and really did force me to re-evaluate where my life should be heading. Thankfully, with my solid belief and understanding of the Universal Laws, I realise that this is all for the good and has made me even more empathetic with those in constant pain.
The important thing to remember is that it is not just the physical aspects of the injury or condition that need to be addressed. Obviously physical treatment needs to be administered to facilitate a return to the best function possible. HOWEVER…… along with the physical must come the addressing of the other three systems (emotional, chemical and electrical), with particular attention to the emotional aspects that are connected to the situation.
As I realise it’s so important, I have taken full advantage of a variety of treatments that focus on varying aspects of the emotional system. I admit there have been times when I have felt concerned about the expense involved but I know that they are absolutely vital in order to get me to an even better state than I was in before the two, seemingly unrelated, incidents.
So, in conclusion, I urge you to open up to the possibility that we are not only the being that we observe in the mirror, that we take for granted at times and that we berate at others…… there is a whole lot more to us than meets the eye!
Remember – if we look up at the sky during the day we see no stars but we know that they are there - we only need the right situation for us view them. Just because we can’t see our subtle energy doesn’t mean it isn’t there, and………we can tap into it at any time!!
